We are pleased to provide the latest construction update for Prime Business Park, East Bendigo, summarising progress achieved onsite over the past fortnight and anticipated works ahead.
Works Completed in the Past Month
Construction momentum has continued strongly throughout September, with a number of key elements finalised across both the office and warehouse components of the estate:
Offices A1–A6: Steady progress continues across the A1–A6 office buildings. Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing rough-ins have been ongoing, alongside the continuation of wall framing works. All ground floor slabs have now been completed, with plaster battens and internal plaster installation underway. Exterior painting has commenced, while ground floor window installations for Offices A5–A6 are now complete, and frame installations for A1–A4 are well advanced with glazing arriving onsite shortly.
Offices B1-B6: Major structural milestones have been achieved for the B1–B6 office buildings, with all precast panels now installed and steel erection underway.
Warehouses G1–G3: Excellent progress has been made across Warehouses G1–G3, with roof sheeting now completed and flashing works continuing. The concrete under-slab for G2 has been finalised, while the remaining slabs are being prepared for completion.
Warehouses D & F: Civil and structural preparation continues in this zone, with footings for F Block now completed and footing works commenced for D Block. Site cuts for D Block are also underway.
Civil & Site Infrastructure: Across the broader site, civil infrastructure works are progressing strongly. Installation of kerbs along the southern laneway is complete, with footpath installation now underway.
Upcoming Works This Month
Looking ahead, the development team will be focused on advancing external finishes, continuing roofing programs, and progressing civil and infrastructure upgrades across the estate:
Offices A1–A6: Over the coming fortnight, internal fit-out works will progress further, including completion of window frames, installation of glazing, and continuation of plastering and services rough-ins.
Offices B1-B6: Over the next fortnight, structural steel works are expected to reach completion, allowing roofing and mezzanine floor installation to commence shortly thereafter. This will mark a significant step forward in the overall program for this stage of the office precinct.
Warehouses G1–G3: In the next fortnight, roof flashing installation will be finalised, under-slab concrete works completed, and preparations for internal concrete pours commenced.
Warehouses D & F: In the coming fortnight, these works will progress with the completion of the site cuts and hurdle set-out, allowing for the continuation of footing and foundation activities across both warehouse buildings. It is expected that panels will be installed onsite form the 14th November onwards for D & F warehouses.
Civil & Infrastructure: Upcoming works include continued progress to the southern laneway, underground electrical installation, water line connections, and ongoing sewer works—all contributing toward the completion of essential services and road networks throughout the park.
