Stage 3 Precast Panels

We are pleased to present the latest construction updates for the M1 Business Park.

Stage 3:

The erection of precast panels has now reached nearly 50% completion. The structures for units 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21 are in place, marking a significant milestone. This rapid progress since the completion of Stage 2 panel installations underscores our builders' dedication to advancing the project efficiently and on schedule. Current activities within Stage 3 include:

- Fixing of panels to ensure structural stability.

- Welding of casting plates to secure the panels.

- Grouting of tubes to provide additional strength and support.

- Installation of steel rakers, which are crucial for lateral stability.

- Installation of roof bracing to enhance the overall structural integrity.

Stage 2:

All steel rakers, roofing steel, and bracing have been successfully installed, signalling the nearing completion of the structural framework. Presently, our builder is focused on:

- Installing safety meshing, which acts as a protective layer during construction.

- Applying sisalation, a reflective foil insulation to improve energy efficiency.

Following these steps, roofing sheets will be fixed in place, completing the roofing works for Stage 2.

Stage 1:

The warehouse units are progressing well with several key installations:

- Flashing and box gutters are now in place to ensure effective water drainage.

- Internal works are advancing, including:

- Carpentry framing for bathroom structures.

- Plumbing installations to provide necessary water supply and waste management.

- Roller door installations for functional and secure access.

- Framing and glazing fitting for front doors to enhance both aesthetics and security.

Stage 4:

Preliminary slab foundation works and slab steel installations have been completed. These foundational steps are critical for ensuring the long-term stability of the structures. The installation of precast panels for this stage is scheduled to commence in the first week of June, contingent on favourable weather conditions.

Upcoming Construction Works:

- Concrete slab pours for Warehouses 10, 11, 12, 2, and 3.

- Installation of precast panels for Warehouses 10, 11, 12, 2, and 3.

- Connection of civil services, including water, electricity, and sewage systems, to Stage 1 warehouses.

- Completion of roofing works for Stage 2, including the final placement of roofing sheets and finishing touches.
